Yes. You can buy the downloadable versions separately. The retail versions cone with the Season Pass.

I didn't think so either but the $40 version includes SIX dlc packs. Apparently each pack will add a whole new mode along with extra tracks and other misc stuff. I figure each pack will probably be worth $5 each. So even if the game itself is overpriced at $20 with the DLC you're looking at a decent price. Plus with Best But GCU it's only $32.

It's $69 for the XBone version. The extra cost is for the patch to try to get some extra resolution.
