    Post-Up Game

Hm, it's hard to explain but I know what you mean. Do not turn opposite of where most of your weight is. It makes no sense how I'm trying to explain it. But turn in the direction that you have a weight advantage. I've noticed though, in 2k9 it's better just to get the ball deep and attempt hook shots and or turnaround jumpers. Especially with guys like Oden and Aldridge. I usually won't try to spin around a defender unless I'm backing down someone much smaller/lighter than my player.

If I remember correctly I believe there was a tutorial type of thing in practice mode where you can practice taking different types of post up shots by moving the right stick in different directions.

You can also practice it in association mode under development.

      Try this:

      1. Left trigger back down your man.
      2. Pump fake
      3. Immediately after the pump, use the shot stick in any direction to attempt up/unders/, drop hooks, etc...
