Picked up a PS4 this afternoon. Redeemed my code for Playstation Plus and now I want to get to my free games! Any way to find them on the PSN without having to search? I have no idea what is available for free, but, I want to download as much as I can. Already started with Mercenary Kings, but, I know that isn't the only one available.

I guess they took some down. When I did an internet search, the stuff that was Free is no longer available at no charge. Not a huge deal, but, I wanted to try some of the more popular ones. I got Resogun and Warframe. Outlast was gone though.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

Yeah, I found a deal. With MS stopping production of the XB1, and getting fucked over by the Dreamcast back in '00, I didn't want to take any chances. So I got a little over $600 for XBoxOne stuff.
I know it's not a death-blow to the XB1, but, I still didn't want to take any chances and with the operational issues I was having, I figured I would go for it.
All in all, I got:
- PS4
- 1 year of PS+
- Extended warranty
- inFamous Second Son
- FIFA 14
- Fully paid off pre-order of MLB The Show 14
- Partial pay off of UFC
Add in that I also have Mercenary Kings, Resogun and Warframe and I have a decent library to start off.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

But like other have said, most of the PS+ freebies are ojnly around for a month. Resogun has been free since launch as part of the 'Instant Game Collection'. The bets thing to do is just go on the web store and "purchase" the games as soon as they are free and that way they will always be tied to your account and you can download them at your leisure.
As far as finding them you just need to go on the store and go to the PS+ tab or section and then go to FREE GAMES.Last edited by Twigg4075; 04-29-2014, 11:35 AM.Comment

Oh shit, you actually traded in the Bone? I thought you just bought a PS4? I guess that explains why you went with Gamestop. Although did you even check to see what Best Buy or Walmart would give you? But do they even take consoles? What all did you trade in? There's a teacher at the school I work at thinking about trading his in as well.

I don't hate the XB1, but, I have always been a Playstation guy. Never had a XBOX before and I can say I was a bit sad to say goodbye to TF, but, when I got home and plugged in a small power cord and the HDMI cable to the PS4 and that was it. No long bullshit set-up, I was already feeling like I made the right choice.Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008

I go to the website and look for all the free games, which seems faster/easier than navigating on the PS3. I haven't seen the PS4 PSN screens but I like this way much better than PS3. It takes 2 clicks, once I signed into PSN to get this screenshot.
edit: I've been able to get all the "free" PS4 games. They are ready to DL, once I get my PS4.

I highly recommend everyone just adding the items to your cart and "purchasing" online like Ryne showed. I still have my ps3 but rarely turn it on. I'll have a ton of games for it if im ever bored due to all the AAA titles released on PS+ lately. I havent really been a fan of any of the free PS4 games besides Mercenary Kings but they are still better than nothing.Comment
