So I see everywhere everyone has continued to have issues regarding the online portion of MLB the show for ps3. What I don't see is any explanation from Sony or any other gaming websites demanding Sony to speak up regarding the issue. It seems as if they sit there and let people blow wind until they give up. Thoughts? Maybe VSN can be the ones to get the real scoop why a first party developer thinks it is okay to release a game with broken online for the past 4 years.

I think the lack of response from Sony on the reported online issues with MLB The Show on the PS3 has been troubling. Their track record for online capability has not been that good and has been under reported by the bigger media outlets if you look at the number of posts on various sports gaming sites. -

Exactly my point. Are we able to use Rhude or any connections to push some kind of response? I am guessing they just don't care.Comment

If the issues are still happening on PS4 something will happen.
Pretty much every sports game I played on the PS3 last year with the exception of 2K seemed to be mailed in IMO.

I have had zero lag in any of my 8 games i have played online. Although i have seen quite a few bugs.
1. When your team is batting the fielders and ball become glitchy occasionally, Mostly when you have muitiple runners on base. Of course if you are on Defense it looks smooth but for the other person its WTF where is the ball.
2. Only happen once but i was kicked out of a game completely and so was my opponent both were given losses and sent to the dashboard.
3. Hit timing- you will find yourself way ahead on most pitches as there seems to be a framerate issue when the pitch is coming in. You will have to adjust to actually hit well.
Offline the game plays absolutely great.Comment

heres the deal. It has not much of anything to with the Show designers/makers. One of the designers had a long stream 2 days before game release and I watched a lot of it.
he said in as polite a way as possible LOL that its Sony and the Japanese that don't care about online interaction and stability for games, The Show can only work around with what they have but Sony needs to get the ball rolling or it wont change.
but with the ability to play other plares created teams offline in Diamond dynasty, I really don't care and hope other sports games use that idea soonComment

I'd love to play an online game, but I hate all the meters and what-not. I play with no meters, auto running, etc...My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

I think what he's trying to say is that Sony Japan doesn't feel the need to develop games with good online quality, not that they don't care about PSN.Comment
