If you're looking for a fun strategy game for your iPhone or iPad. Try this. I've been playing for a couple days and its pretty fun. It's a city builder combined with tower defense of sorts - you attack other towns/castles with only control over the placement and timing of your troops, and they fight the automated defenses.

There's a bit strategy at building a good defensive village. If your village is poorly built, expect to get raped ever 12 hours. You can also take advantage of other player's weak defenses and take their gold/elixir. There are different types of soldiers you can train and they each have a particular strength. Once, your "Clan Castle" is restored, you can join a clan and then you can ask for small amounts of troops to be donated to you for either to defend your village or to help in your attack on another village. Your Level is in the blue and your actual rank is determined by how many trophies you have. You gain trophies by successfully defeating a village and you can lose trophies by either attacking a village and losing or if your village is attacked and the attacker is successful.
A total of 6 days into it, I've manage to smash on other villages and gain quite a bit of gold and elixir to upgrade my stuff. Until this game, I usually don't play too many games on my iPad or phone but this one has been fun.
Tips I can give to anyone who is going to give this a try because once you start, you cannot start over.
- Use your Gems sparingly.
- Your Town Hall should always be your top priority in your defense, if the attacker destroys it, its an automatic win.
- Get your Gold Storages and Elixir Storages upgraded fast so you can then upgrade your Town Hall. The higher the Level of Town Hall you have, the more stuff you can build.
