COD: Advanced Warfare

So the gf ended up buying me this yesterday (PS4). I only played for about an hour (all MP) and I actually enjoyed it. As everyone else said, the exosuits aren't as overpowered as I was expecting and actually provided a fresh feel to a series that's gotten quite stale the past few years. Probably one of my new favorite features is the fact that you can goto a shooting range seamlessly from the create a class menu to test out all the different weapons. Played like 3 maps on free for all and I enjoyed them.

I'll probably hop on for another hour or so tonight, but I won't get to really dig my teeth into it until Friday night.

I'm pretty sure you said this exact thing about whichever CoD game was before Ghosts. Then a week later you hated it.

I didn't mind the maps when I first popped it in, but I was instantly raw dogged with score streaks in that game, I remember, which is why I played MP for maybe two days and shelved it. Hopefully I continue to enjoy this one, b/c I kinda miss those nights back in the CoD4/WaW/MW2 days when I'd play MP for hours on end. We'll see. It could certainly still change.


Anyways... If anyone's on the PS4 and wants to join the F00T Clan, let me know.

Finally got to play this last night and it did not disappoint. Only played MP but compared to Ghosts this was a breath of fresh air. Grenades are shit but I'm enjoying the overall experience.

I broke down and got the game for the PS4 as well. I already had plans to go to the STS9 show with friends tonight but tomorrow will pretty much be an all day double XP rank up for me if you guys are going to be on. Shoot me a clan invite when you get the chance please sir.

I'm ok with this. I used to hate people just spamming the shit out of their grenades randomly. Now it actually takes a little more skill to get kills. The grenades that you can shoot and manually detonate (can't remember the name) are the shit, though.
