Appeals to casuals too much for me. Just wish they'd make the game at least somewhat realistic.

Meh, I don't think you can really go too much off of how a user-controlled game looks. If the dev is a button-masher or is trying to show off a number of different animations, physics, engine, etc. the fight is likely going to look like a bit of an arcade game. I've played both EA MMA and the UFC offerings from THQ and you can make fights realistic if you play the proper way.

The game looks fine. How realistic do you want it to be? Even the old Fight Nights could look ridiculously unrealistic when it comes to button mashing. The game looks at it's best when two players that know what they're doing are fighting. Same with the first UFC game THQ made. If too realistic, matches would end in under a minute because of the lack of blocking some people do. Of course in real life a fancy kick straight to the dome would knock someone down but where would fun factor be in the game if that happened so very often? Matches wouldn't last 3 and or 5 rounds if that were the case, lol.

With that said, that intro had my hyped over here! Very well done. Some of the animations were choppy here and there but I guess thats because it's at 30 FPS.

I want clean shots to act like clean shots. There were about 34 knockout blows in that one round. I appreciate the patience, picking shots, positioning, etc....way more than slugging away at each other. You make that happen, people will be forced to block instead of ignoring it for the most part. Just me.

I agree but I don't think there will ever be a fighting game like that, unless there was specific difficulty for it.

Good thing the HW's are noticeably slower.
