this is my first time with the battlefield franchise and I have really come around to it. I still play cod a lot but I have really enjoyed hardline a lot more then I thought I would. trust me its not like cod. when you are about to snipe someone then they just up and fly away with a jetpack, then its cod. looks like rabbits bouncing all over the screen its stupid.

I know it's not full CoD, but it definitely seems to be moving in that direction, which I do not think is a good idea. Advanced Warfare is especially ridiculous with the Halo-type elements.

one thing that's pretty cool coming from cod franchise is that battlefield have bullet fall out. took me a few days to really get it. but I don't like how a lot of the people look the same. cod you can customize your own person

I thought you could customize your character? I haven't really looked into but couldn't you do that in Bf4?

Does anyone else feel like this game is too CoD? The more I play it the more I feel like it's closer to CoD than Bf. I was playing with a buddy and his brother last night and he was saying the same thing. It just seems like the maps are smaller (not CoD small but still a lot smaller), a lot more getting shot in the back. Just overall faster speed of the gameplay, which is not better IMO.

I spent some time with it one evening earlier this week, and that was my exact thought. It's incredibly fast-paced, the building destruction is.... non-existent, vehicle warfare is not near as fun. The little I played this week wasn't pulling me in. I'll give it more time, but so far, it just doesn't feel like "Battlefield" to me at all.

Depends on who you ask. It had a lot of server issues when it launched so some gave up on it early. I play it on Pc mainly and have no complaints now but it did have its issues early on. If you love big maps, playing in tanks,jets,helis, and attack boats then this is the game for you not to mention the destructive environments

Battlefield 4 is still amazing and plays flawlessly on consoles now. It took forever for them to get things right though but they finally did.

I have it on PS4 if you ever want to play.

Thanks for the feedback. I enjoyed the PS3 battlefield games and think I am going to find BF4 on sale somewhere and take the leap.
