I do think this is much bigger than the press it's getting. EA themselves finally admitting that QB accuracy has meant very little, but this year finally does. EA stated that 400+ receiving animations that have been in the game for a while, but NEVER TRIGGERED due to the flaw in QB accuracy WILL FINALLY TRIGGER. This is big. But why, why did it take them this long to actually make QB accuracy mean something.Comment

I got that on OS. It was in a thread about some developer interview. The developer himself supposedly said this when saying how significant the QB Accuracy change is. That completable passes that aren't 100% accurate will trigger all these WR animations that are already in the game, but we have not seen. It would take me a while to go back and find this to provide a link. But it's over at OS.Comment

This is probably why it's the least talked about feature, it highlights how shitty of a job they do.Comment

It doesn't surprise me at all that EA would be that incompetent to take the time to actually add 400+ animations into the game but then just have them never even show up for years because the QB's accuracy was completely broken... How do these people still have their jobs?

Its about digging through hundreds of thousands of lines of code to find one small trigger and removing it without destroying the whole thing.

Not sure if the 400 number is correct, but I believe it to an extent. There are tons of new tackle animations that you never see with the base game unless you mess with ratings/sliders.Comment

What concerns about the QB accuracy additions is in the 49ers/Seahawks video, neither Kaep or Wilson were missing their target, even when way behind the LOS. Hopefully it was a lower difficulty, but from what I've seen it didn't look much different.Comment

I ended up watching some All-Pro videos and I admit they did look better. I'm really hoping the sliders work well enough to mold the game how I want it.Comment
