Will EA ever release another NCAA football game?

I know this is old news apparently, but I just recently read this. I was hopping to get a new NCAA game for ps4, this news really shits on my dreams at the moment.

I have last years game on ps3, but the controller is awful. I never realized this till I played games on the ps4. I might as well sell my ps4, cuz I'm never going to be taking that out again.

It would be good if we could've gotten NCAA on the PS4. Could have at least had something to play for this generation

Its doubtful that any company will risk making an NCAA game ever again. Many major colleges won't allow their schools to be used for fear of lawsuit... Sane with major conferences.

Yeah, the timing was horrible for PS4 and Xbox One owners. The game had made a good showing the past 2 years and probably would have held up for many years to come on next gen with community roster updates each fall.

I think the majority of the staff was moved over to Madden and some might have caught on with Live. There was some small number of layoffs though if memory serves.

I enjoyed NCAA 14 and the recruiting system was probably the best it's ever been......I still play it on PS3

I would have loved to see it transition to PS4/Xbox One

Probably not as easy as it sounds but couldn't they just make these guys sign waivers? And if they chose not to sign, they (or their likeness) wouldn't be in the game.

Once the major football conferences breakaway from the NCAA, this won't be a problem.

I would guess that if schools were allowed to negotiate individually over likenesses, especially if we now catagorize the college football player as an employee of the university, then it will be much easier than negotiating with something nebulous like the NCAA.
