[PS3] PS3 freezing

Anyone been able to fix a freezing PS3? I have 2 but the one with the 500 GB HDD is fucked. It's the model with the sliding door on the top. It freezes at start up on the screen that has the squiggly line going across it with the white specs in the background. I tried reseating the HDD but it did nothing.

Did you try going into safe mode and doing a system restore?

Had no idea that feature even existed. Will give that a try.

Had to use the option that deleted my PSN data but it worked. Thanks again, Bill.
