On this edition of #The5, we look at the top 5 players in Madden NFL 15 that you can use to take advantage of “War in the Trenches 2.0″. You can take advantage of the new pass rush features in Madden NFL 15 with limited success using lesser players, but what fun is that?!? Here is a list of the beasts in the game that should help you smash the competition by bringing the heat and harassing the Quarterback.
5). Justin Houston, Kansas City Chiefs
Justin Houston came into his own last year racking up 11 sacks in 11 games. That followed a 2012 season where he totaled 10 sacks. As the premier pass rush threat for the Kansas City Chiefs, Houston has been a wrecking ball and has shown a nasty streak. In Madden NFL 15 he will be a great threat on the defensive side of the ball.
4). Jadeveon Clowney, Houston Texans
Clowney closes in on Johnny FootballWhat sort of top 5 list can you have without a stud rookie being apart of it?! Let alone when that stud rookie is the 1st overall pick in the NFL draft. At 6’6″ and 250lbs, Jadeveon Clowney dominated the college football landscape while at South Carolina. Facing constant double and triple teams couldn’t even stop him. With the outside speed and grace reminiscent of Derrick Thomas, Mr. Clowney will be a man-child in Madden NFL 15!
