Forza is no longer impressive in any way. Baked lighting. Everything is business as usual. Twigg is correct as it was indeed missing quite a bit of stuff that was in its previous iteration

If people think Forza was bad, that's fine, I don't feel strongly enough about any of the console racers to argue otherwise. The best racing sims have always been extremely bare boned, featureless and with average graphics. So I never really based racers on the things he's knocking Forza for. Different perspectives, but I respect and understand why people would want more from Forza. I personally don't think the gameplay has regressed, so to me it's still a solid game. But, if people care that much about visuals and whatever else, then what can I say. I think that's part of the problem with consoles in general though, too much attention is focused on fluff rather than hardcore gameplay.

Because they're doing laser scan now as far as I know. Was the gameplay good? That's all racing "sims" really come down to, gameplay and online functionality.

You don't agree that the gameplay is good for a console racer? In terms of just the racing mechanics.

The gameplay is quite good, but it's obvious they rushed the game to meet launch, thus it was absent tons of features, cars and tracks from the previous installment. Series' shouldn't regress that much, ever.
