Uniform degradation bug?

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this at all. I played Browns @ Steelers in perfect weather conditions. The browns were wearing there white Jerseys and never seemed to get dirty or the steelers for the first three quarters. Of a sudden 4th quarter hits and magically everyone is dirty. I know people have ties to EA on here and was just wondering if anyone has heard anything on this. I know EA has a track record for things like this not triggering for some reason over and over again.

I just been noticing the little things, everyone's white jerseys should not be spotless after a quarter. I can go outside and fall on the grass on my own a get a grass stain, but running backs getting driven into the ground by scary men are clean as a whistle. Always one step forward, two steps back

I have seen lots of discussion on this out on social media. Hoping that something can be done in that first patch to gradually have uniform and field degradation.

Thanks Bill! I hope so. Not sure why they struggle with this so much or how it seems to get screwed up every yr.

This sounds like when they would brag about real time lighting yet it would only change at the start of a new quarter or half, not gradually over the course of the game.

Anyone know if this is fixed? I notice the jerseys getting dirty but haven't paid attention whether it's just in the fourth quarter.

They do get dirty but not until at least after half time. Even in rain games on grass there jerseys are spotless. EA does know they do play on grass right, were are the grass stains?I watched SD@ Zona and in the first couple min guys had grass stains on them, but why we can't get that in madden makes no sense. I know this is nitpicking ,but its 2014 for Pete's sake this should not even be a thing. Its part of the immersion factor for me.

Big picture, I give up on EA they honestly have no clue on what there doing anymore. Game is manageable, but waiting for patches every year is just getting old. I hope in the next couple years some else gets a shot to make a NFL game.

I think it was Madden 98 or one of them early ps1 days, were they actually had real time cleat marks and stayed on the field the whole game(I thought it was so awesome). Now in this day of age we get grass clumps that disappear in mid air-lame and magically disappear into the field.

I think it was in Madden 12 were we would get real time uniform degradation, were if your wr actually got the ball and landed on his hip he would get up an have a grass stain in that exact spot, like it just happened. Now we get a switch that turns on in the 4th and everyone turns dirty right on cue.

Ha, but I'm glad we have the little titan, o these programmers.

I remember being excited about LEFT HANDED QBs in Madden 96 on the Genesis. It was even on the back of the box with a screen shot of pixelated Steve Young. Guess what? He was the ONLY QB that threw left handed in the game.

So, I paid attention to this while playing the other day and it did seem that the uniform degrading only popped up in the fourth quarter. Lame.

I hope so, not sure why this seems to be a issue all the time. After playing alot of Madden like everyone else the new flavor feeling is starting to rub off. Seeing more and more wanky animations when players collide and just cringe when I see that sideways tackle and takes you 5 yards side ways or 10 yards out of bounds. I like seeing players having momentum, but this is just ugly. Game play seems solid just the animations drive me nuts, the engine seems to be going backwards imo. Guys bending all funny and sometimes look like they been shot and falling in slow motion. With NBA 2k just around the corner and losing patience waiting for a patch( Like always) I might trade it in and hope for next yr. Game just seems really boring mixed bag after playing it for a month straight my review score drops from 8.0 to 7.5.
