i thought the first patch fixed checks. Or maybe they just made them better, but i still cant do it. i see maybe 1 per game. If it was offline it would be more like 20 per game

Does anyone use the Power Swing at all? I like to use it if I'm sitting dead red but I have little to no success with it.

I suck at hitting in general so far.

Just hit my first bomb. It was with Brian McCann and using the X swing. Guessed right on a Roy Oswalt curve ball down in the zone, waited back and drove it 420 feet.

          Was a thing of beauty.

I hit back to back to back jacks using regular swing, so i see no reason for it...plus, you have to hit the ball in a better spot, really useful for the guess pitch feature when you know where it will be, but I dont use any of the extra features in an attempt to improve my game

The hitting in the game is what you apply in real life. Patience. You gotta get ahead in counts, can't be an idiot like Ryan Howard and start hackin at every pitch out there. Although after watching this weekends games looks like hes learning too.

The only thing I haven't figured out is that, how do you poke a pitch outside the opposite field, or how do you pull the ball using the stick? Is it pretty much directional. As in a Lefty comes up to bat, I push the stick left on the controller to poke the ball and pull the stick right to pull the ball into RF?

              Thanks.
