Hearing mixed opinions on the game over at OS. Sounds like online play is completely fucked again, was wondering what you guys thought? I'm still on the fence on whether or not I should buy it.

I'm hearing the gameplay is damn good, possibly best ever but presentation might be the worst ever from a 2K sports title.
As far as myGm and Myplayer I heard they aren't playable yet due to servers crashing. Same with a large portion of the game modes both offline and online (VC forces an "always on" internet connection).

Never seen gameplay this good. Stars play like stars and every team plays in their real life style

The only reason I would get this is for online with guys from VSN, but if the servers are MLB The Show level bad, I think I would have to pass.Comment

My only issue with the 2k series is the inability to play online games with real player shooting %.
I hate that stupid stick skill thing.
I'd kill to play an online game where player shooting % is an option ... especially with free throws.

Game is pretty solid, but very frustrating on HOF. There are times it seems that the CPU will not miss no matter what. I turn there shooting success down and it doesn't seem to matter. I also think some of the sliders have no affect on the game at all (cough madden). I turn up the different defense sliders, use my coach settings to play tight on the guards and they still get wide open like some sliders don't even matter.
Also, I always thought the human controlled big men turn useless for some reason. For example I was playing with the rockets and Dwight Howard was just getting abused on the boards and couldn't stop a shot by Minn 7" foot center.( i don't even know his name). I don;t feel the big guys play like themselves like they do real life and always have felt this way the last 5 yrs. Fouls seem kind of broken and 3pt attempts by the CPU needs to be patched. Every CPU team you play feels like they have shaq on the boards
Sliding gets annoying at times like there playing on ice, reminds me of madden. Soundtrack is the worst ever, Pharrel sucks and so do his songs. All in all you won't be disappointed.

I love 2k15 ... but I'm an offline 2ker (prefer true shooting % over shot stick).
5-6 record in MyLeague with the Raptors so far (all star level with tweaked sliders). Lost Demar Derozan for 6-8 weeks with a severely sprained ankle. Said to myself "OK, time for Terrence Ross to take the next step!" Then I lost him the next game (day to day) with an injury. Ugh. Resisting the urge to make a stupid trade. Never been a big my player guy. Sometimes wonder if I should try that with Fifa though. I know nothing about soccer/football ... that might be the game where I should try that.
The other sports, I gotta play as my team and hope for the best.
