    New Patch. Pros & Cons

    Cons

Points in the Paint – In an effort to increase user satisfaction, we have tuned interior defense in combination with shooting percentages for shots taken in the paint. The result is something we feel will be more in-line with what our users are expecting.
I played like 7 games yesterday. I really haven't noticed to much of a difference here.

Shooting Percentages – Continuing with the above description, we have tuned down shot success of perimeter shots when the defender is amply covering the offensive player taking the shot.
This is fucked up. I'm missing wide open 3's all of a sudden. I think they fucked with mid range jump shots too. I can't seem to make any jump shots anymore.

General Fixes – A large number of other smaller issues have been addressed with the aim of increasing user satisfaction. These changes, while minor, have improved the quality of gameplay.
It seems like there are way too many fouls now.

Overall - I wasn't enjoying the game as much yesterday. I don't know if it was the patch or if it was me, but I take a lot of jumpshots, and it seems like I was bricking like crazy. It also seems the defense is way too good now. The 70-80 online games I have played since the game came out... scores were like 80-75. Yesterday I didn't score more than 68 in 7 games. I also went 1-6 in these games. In my opinion they tuned down jump shots, but didn't tune down inside scoring enough so my play style took a huge blow.

    Pros

Team-Up Lag – An intense round of optimization has taken place for the Team-Up experience. The changes made grant significant speed improvements for users on slower broadband connections such as lower-end DSL connections. The end result is a much smoother gameplay experience for everyone.
This feature is much more enjoyable now.

Quick Match Connection Problems – An issue was identified where users were being re-directed to the online FAQ instead of being taken into a game. This message will now only appear in appropriate situations.
It only takes 1 try to get into a game now. Very happy.

First FT Lag / Difficulty – The first free throw of an online game had a variable amount of lag depending on which camera was chosen for the shot. We have corrected this issue by asserting a fixed camera for this shot that eliminates any controller lag. In addition to this, the ‘make’ window for free throws in online play has been increased to account for the timing difference.
Took some adjusting too. I was so used to having to push up quicker to make the shot. However I'm glad this was fixed. Now my Free Throws will be 80% instead of 40%.

so, the cpu actually has subs playing now decent minutes. glad they fixed that.

the whole michael beasley playing 53 minutes in a overtime game on me was rediculous.

Melo was missing a whole bunch of easy shots, i dont usually force the shot, with my guys, but i might have to now, (i usually just flick the stick, now i'm gonna have to hold it down, lol)

I just played my first team up game. Really fun it was the blazers vs the wizards. I was brandon roy. I had 30 Points on 14-25 Shooting. We had a full team. I carried the team but I blamed myself for the loss b/c we were down 2 and stevenson knocked down a 3 b/c for some reason roy fell down on a hard screen LOL. Good game tho

They need to remove that stutter step (LT move) from the game. If you do it driving to the lane with a good superstar (Kobe, Lebron, McGrady, etc.) it's like an automatic dunk. C'mon 2k..

The more I play the game, the more it reminds me on Live.

I played a game last night. Dude scored 38 with lebron at the half....

I got sick of his shit around the middle of the 1st quarter, and ended up putting 51 up with Wade.

                          I lost, by 2

The biggest thing I don't like since the patch is that they made Jumpshots, and 3's much harder to make. Yet driving still is sooo easy. Which makes people shoot dunks and layups even more then they used to.

I'm sick of missing Wide Open 3's since the patch.

Oj Mayo has an 86 3 Point Shot, and he can't make a 3 Pointer wide open unless it's the 4th Quarter.
