i think it loks great, that is without the lighting and everything aswell Ian Said so the graphics are much better, it looks like the CB is jostling for position with the WR which looks great

All in all is is much improved from the o9 Asante "im Superman" Samuel leap

      Well done Ian

According to Ian, yes, the two players essentially stumble out of bounds. He didn't say, but the way he described it it sounded like this ended up being incomplete, over the heads of both guys.

I was confused for a bit with reading this thread going, "WTF, if you guys don't see anything different, now I know you're just hating to hate!"

I think it's more along the lines that most people aren't looking for the right differences.

They see similar graphics and think that's all there is to it, or they just don't understand much about how a video game works to see something impressive.

But in all actuality, it's just a screenshot and doesn't really prove much of anything until we see how it'll actually play out in a game. I can see why people on this site aren't getting hard over it.

I don't know how close they're to the sidelines but how the hell doesn't Clayton make the grab? He's in perfect position and can almost taste the football.

It also looks like the defender is going to fall to the ground. It shows tons of potential and definitely is something to get excited about, but there are tons of things in that picture alone I would change.
Yea I'd have to assume that Clayton pulls in the catch, but he may have ended up out of bounds which is what I think adem was referring to.

The defenders head isn't looking directly at the ball, but to me it looks as if he is looking straight up and just hasn't gotten his head around yet.

The positioning of the players is what gets me excited about it. Looks far more natural that what would play out in a similar situation in previous games (with the DB super swat and WR not going up for the ball at all). The DB is riding the WR toward the sideline, the WR is being aggressive to the ball. Much better than before.

While I agree, no reason to get over excited until it can be seen in motion, but you can see clear improvement in it.

And I like that fact the other players just watched. Just like in really life. Really your fat ass is 40 yds down field. What the hell can they do? I just hoe a player 10 yds away would run after him.

They should also have the QB celebrate when he knows the man is beat. Or sometimes in a big situation have the QB run a down field and celebrate with the WR.

Looks to me like the defender is looking for the ball, but in the wrong place. If procedural awareness works like it should, a few moments ago that defender should have been looking at Clayton, and when he saw Clayton looking for the ball, he should have started looking for the ball himself... however, over his left shoulder, not turning his head from the receiver. I don't expect procedural awareness will be perfect in year one, but hopefully they address this.

As for Clayton not making the catch... drops happen.
