Sony will be adding Spotify to PS4 and allowing streaming while gaming. I think this is awesome since I already subscribe to spotify and was very fond of playing Killzone 2 while playing music off my PS3.

Saw this earlier today. I was already mulling over getting a Spotify subscription for the past couple weeks; this news pretty much sold me. Can't wait for it to debut in the spring. Will make Madden games especially better.

Haha I know what you mean. I'll be sure to have a playlist selected before each game. Can't have m'fers pausing every 5 mins to change the song.

Pandora is garbage in my opinion. I haven't used that in years. Plays the same shit over and over. You can also download music with Spotify as well so you don't need constant internet connection to play music. HD quality (I'm assuming that's at least 240 kbps, possibly 320 kbps).

I think it really depends on how often you listen to music. Music is a HUGE part of my life so it would be a good investment for me (especially since I can get the $5 a month Student special) as I'm constantly listening to music throughout the day; whether I'm at home or at work. Possibly the biggest feature is that you can play virtually any song/artist/album you can think of. They even have some of the most obscure artists that other apps like Pandora do not. I listen to a solid amount of independent music as well so that's a plus.

Personally, I'm just excited to FINALLY listen to music in the background on my PS4 when I play games. Something Xbox has been able to do forever now.

What it boils down to is how often do you listen to music and how do you listen to it?

I walk around with my iPhone listening to iHeart/Pandora/TuneIn Radio/ and Soundcloud. $10 is a lot of money, so I'll have to think about it. The way I have my tv/gaming set up is everything going through the soundbar. This is nice because I use 1 remote BUT it won't let me play games and listen to my iPhone, while playing the game. It will shut off the TV, when it goes to Bluetooth mode. Right now I play games and listen to my iPhone through headphones.
