I can't figure out how to get the last piece that's in that heavily guarded palace that you have to fly to on that glider that Leonardo made.

It's actually not that hard to find. Remember when you were running around Venice with Antonio scouting the palace? You made a run up scaffolding in the back and got on the roof of the palace, and then go to that little fence on the roof. Well, go to the right, and you should see a ladder that drops down. It's right next to the bottom of the ladder. There's also a chest just across from the entrance to the tomb.

i was one of the guys who also thought it was inside there. Then I had to cheat and look for a clue as to where it was, and felt stupid that I was so close to it a couple of times.

The Truth was so much of a better part of the story then the ending. That shit was stupid.

Those of you who have beat the main story, does the game allow you to still free roam afterwards and finish up all the other task (treasure, side quests) ??

Don't care for the ending. Annoyed that they basically took a giant crap on the rivalry between the Templars and the Assassins and are now saying that the sun is your greatest enemy.

I see what you mean, but I don't know if I'd go that far. It certainly has demonstrated that there are larger threats that just the Templars, but with Viddic douching it up at the end and the Templars/Abstergo still out there, you can't rule that plot thread out.

My curiosity is rooted in whether or not the game will actually take place in present day. I doubt that it will personally. I'm guessing Victorian era with a smattering of present day stuff, similar to this one.

Just finished the story mode. I really like what they've set up for the 3rd game.

Hopefully you've unlocked all of The Truth clips and seen the video. Because it kinda explains what the whole "eden" this is about and how things started to go batshit.

I'm not that far into the game but I'm really enjoying it. I love the first one but this one seems ten times better with loads more variety. I climbed to the top of that seriously high church and it was amazing. I don't remember anything being that tall in the first game.

Glad you're enjoying it. I fucking loved it. Really liked the first one, but this just feels like they got everything (mostly) right. The combat is still way too counter oriented, and the wrist blade thing is ridiculously overpowered in this one, but everything else is amazing, from the graphics, to the gameplay, to the story. I was blown away. I even played through it a second time.

The achievements/trophies are surprisingly easy, I found. And some things that I would imagine would give you them don't (i.e. viewpoints, completing 100% of the side missions, etc...).
