    Madden NFL 10 Adaptive AI

Possibly the best news we've gotten thus far IMO.

Best possible imporvement the team could have made. I'm somewhat skeptical if it will truly work (the animations and physics are still an issue). The in-game AI has been untouched for so long it became unplayable.

The same plays and strategies have worked since last-gen. A few tweaks every season, but essentially people have ran the same exact offense for years without fail. HB counter, post-corner and rollout passing.

Maybe it will finally be fixed.

One thing that I really hope for this is that it works backwards... if I run a bunch of curl routes, and then a hitch-and-go, the corner should bite and I can throw it over his head. Or if I run the same running play, then use the corresponding play-action pass, it's slightly more effective. etc.

I like this blog. Another good step towards perfection.

That's a damn good question. I'm going to bring that up to Ian and see if I can get some clarification.

Exactly was I was thinking Spydr. Madden looks to actually compete with NCAA this year. Sweet.

that will be great, but will it work on a user controled team? meaning will the corner always bite on teh double move?

Gameplay wise, Madden OWNED NCAA this year... it wasn't even close. NCAA is just a "better" game in some peoples opinions due to the enviroment/teams/online dynasty shit like that. However NCAA was way way way more flawed than Madden.:bestwishes:

Speaking of online dynasty, Phil Frazier said that they would announce a new Online Feature in june. Some might say that it was expected.... It'll be online franchise.

"In the june month we're gonna have some pretty interesting things within' the online space, that are gonna be announced right around e3. We're not gonna give you guys the scoop on that one quite yet, but I'll just say this. I am absolutely positive our community will love the big online feature at the end of this year. Some would say it's expected, but i think we're delivering it in a way that folks really aren't expecting, which is why I'm really excited."

Not true, and who says deep blue, has a lot of power? It simply is making calucations / predections of the next players move... I wouldn't be surprised that when it was made in 97' if it was less powerful then the 360/ps3.

Ummmm Am I the only one not falling for this?

It says it on Madden 09's box, it was on the commercials, websites, etc.

"First Sport Game that Adapts To You"

"Whether your new to the franchise or an All-Pro, the all new adapative difficulty engine continously assessses your abilities and tailors the experience to fit your skill level, keeping the game both fun and challenging"

I smell some b.s. going flying around here. I'll believe it when I can play it and find out for myself.

Now I'm not down on this game but there are some small things I have been catching in the blogs that just scare me a little but this one right here was the biggest concern I have had. Although I do think Madden 10 should be a great football game.
