I wouldn't say this thread is a tease. It lets us know that Madden 10 is gonna be pretty good and that we're gonna be getting a 'huge' announcement right around draft day (which is April 25th, today its the 12th!!).

To the best of my memory, you were always one of the guys that stuck up in defense of Madden 2009...which in my humble opinion was a flaming pile of dog shit.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'd want to be one of the original guys to see the game first. Now they got their feet wet and they'll have to wait, plus they can't say anything at all.

At least for the rest of us we have nothing to be excited over, yet.

Someone couldn't make it, so they needed replacements. Ian asked me to suggest someone, so I mentioned KornStar as a guy who could find exploits quickly. Unfortunately he's not online as often anymore and the only way we had to contact him was through MM. He didn't get back to Raczilla early enough to make it.

What exactly must you do to be qualified to go to a Community Day event? If you have to be bitter towards EA for the crap they've been putting out, wouldn't we all have been there?

I was chosen for my obsession with franchise mode over the past 4 years. I worked on the Madden Manifesto and MaddenAmp in a relentless pursuit of Franchise realism, as well as my background in coaching offense.

LBzrule was chosen for his X's and O's knowledge, his understanding of defensive formations and techniques, and his ability to articulate those things.

KANE was chosen for his photographic memory for player equipment and obsession with making sure they're accurate.

BeZo and Dave were chosen because they'd both outspoken critics of Madden, but were fair minded and respectful in their criticism, not to mention thoughtful and intelligent.

The Watcher was chosen because he's a hard ass they knew wouldn't give them a break on anything. He actually showed up with a copy of ESPN NFL 2k5 and said, "if it sucks, this is going in for the rest of the night!"

Joborule was chosen because of his well-rounded approach and meticulous and well thought out posts regarding where the serious should go.

rgiles was chosen because he's a quiet evil genius.

Hopefully that announcement is as big as you say. We hear this same shit every year, how we'll all be blown away. Even if this game is good, I'll still say fuck EA because of all the highway robbery they've pulled over the years. Come August 14th, I'm still expecting a mediocre game, like always.

I hope I'm wrong, but the last 4 years make me think I'll be right.

haha, that's awesome. To be invited by EA to come to an event to try and reach out to the community only to have them wave 2k5 in their face is hilarious. Most people would have just been happy to be invited and I liked how The Watcher took it upon himself to not back down on anything. Just for reference, which one in the video is he?
