360 doesn't play games? wtf!?!? help

god thing is you got a warranty.I had the same problem with my 1st 360,but mine wouldnt read or play.Try and put a DVD in to see if it will play a dvd.If not,your screwed.

its might be your disc tray which your xbox isnt registering that it is closed and it wont read the disc

This is exactly what happened with my 360, just send it in and they'll give you one for free.

Is there a message or anything. If it says E74...Then your screwed. If it doesnt even have an error message, then just keep trying to turn it off. I had this happen a couple of times and just kept trying again.

But when I got the E74 message. I was fucked.
