Gearbox and 2K Games have wasted no time in announcing the first DLC for Borderlands. Heck, the game itself won't even be released until October 20. Still, we now know that, later this year, players will be able to set out for new (but unlikely to be fresh-smelling) adventures on ... The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.

Admission to this delightfully named locale has already been priced at $9.99 for PS3 and Games for Windows, 800 ($10) on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Given 2K's timing, we fully expect Borderlands 2 to be announced next Monday.

Good news for me because I've spent probably 15 years of my life playing Diablo, Diablo 2, and WoW. :D

lol yeah, I just quit WoW like two months ago, after playing it since it launched. Glad to have finally broken that habit.

I'm liking it so far. I played most of the day yesterday and reached lvl 15. The amount of guns you can find is ridiculous. Early on you can only carry 11 items and you'll fill those slots fast.

The only thing I don't like right now is the driving. they have it where you go forward or backward with the left stick and control the camera and turn with the right.

Even though i've been waiting for this game since spet 07, i'm going to buy the game tomorrow. It wouldnt feel right getting it early than everyone else.

Im mixed about the the dlc, for one thing, its too much yet it is zombies. Everyone loves zombies...

Like Fallout 3 was "Oblivion with guns", this has turned into "First Person Diablo with guns"
