Whoa...seriously, this caught me way off guard. I know this man has alot of haters, but damn is it gonna be weird not hearing him anymore. Don't care if you hate him or not, you gotta respect this guy. I wonder if this means any changes for EA Sports' Madden next year.

This guy made football. From his crazy/outgoing coaching style, to his obnoxious broadcasts, to his incredible riddles that racked my brain for hours (90% of the game is half mental... WTF?!?!?) .... this man will certainly be missed. There's nobody that did/will do it better than Madden.

Oh fuck. Chris Collinsworth is quite possibly the worse commentator in all of sports.

He was terrible.
At least Collinsworth has some opinions that aren't always so "he's having so much fun out there!!!"

i knew this was coming when madden missed a game last season and collinsworth filled in. i think chris will do just fine. I have always liked madden, him and summeral (sp?0 were the real shit.
