Last night, I have my greatest performance in RttS, and probably the best pitching performance I've ever had in the history that I've played The Show.

I proceed to throw a 9 Inning No Hitter.

Fucking awesome right?

No, there was NO OFFENSE for either team. The computer shut out my teams offense for the entire game. So we go into extra innings. 10th inning, my team still doesn't score. I end up giving a hit up to the first guy I face and get pulled. The game ends 1-0 after 13 innings.

To say the least, I was pissed. Especially since I kept getting lit up in the performances leading up to that game.

Reminds me of a game I had on MVP 2005. I had moved Ankiel back into the rotation. First game back he is just dealing. I have a no hit big going into the 9th. Get the first two guys on ground outs to second. He has nothing left in the tank. 2 outs and the batter comes to the plate. Count goes to 3-0. Pipe a fast ball and the guy hits a flyball into right field. Can of corn.

Nope.

Reggie fucking Sanders drops it.

Still have the no-no but the game is 2-0. I get greedy and try again with the next batter. 3-2 count and he drills a HR to tie the game. I yank Ankiel, and end up winning in extras but I was so pissed. Closest I have ever come to a no hitter in a baseball game
