Great demo lots of fun great variety.

Glad the ground game is in depth. I havent had a fight go past the second round always KOing or getting KOd earlier. Very first game I kod Rua in 8 seconds.

Lots of great aspects , the physics for the most part seem great. I got KOd and went limp and just stood there for a second before keeling over on Chuck you can see my body lean and scrape on his till he backs away and I fall flat on my face. Best KO animation Ive ever seen in a game.

Collision detection is really good but alot of highlights it sure seems that the punches really werent that hard and sometimes dont make actual contact. Weird. But much preferred to energy meter knock outs. You really can get beat at any point.

Some questions/Issues even after going through tutorials.

1.How do you work the MT clinch ?
Ive yet to see it held for more than a second by either side. Underhooks and MT clinch seem very easy to pull away from . Also yet to see anyone push or bully anyone from within any of the standing clinches.

        2. Have you found the Jab and quick kicks to be pretty pointless ?
Maybe its because power punches are so easy to pull off but I have yet to try and get some jabs going without that distance being broken really really easy.

        3. Close range striking.
My only real problem with the game so far. Seems that its far too easy and common for guys to be literally toe to toe. The striking at this range seems really lame with punches turning into elbows and upper cuts hooks not working well at all. None of the quick strikes do much to keep guys at a distance. Combined with my problems in any sort of clinch 99.99 % of my matches are decided by Flask KOs/GNP with the rare submission.

Perhaps it has to do with the matchup ? When the hell was the last time you saw Liddell in a MT clinch or holding a guy in one for any period of time.
Best reason to have a license.

the muia thai or how you spell it requires you to put your self in positon once grappled by holding rt and flick the analog stick+x and also other sorts of variation where you can unleash punishment

You have to stay with it. I do an attempt at least 3 times a round. After they get tired, it becomes more effective.

No, on expert the Jab become your best friend.

I don't get that close unless I want to. Use the run feature, or the step back feature to creat distance and angles.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

It's Also good to keep in mind that this is a demo that was finished almost 3 weeks ago now, so there's still some fine tuning that will be in the final game that isn't in this demo

I doubt it will be a huge difference though.

True, but there haven't really been any huge problems.

                        Yeah.

Man oh man, this game is great. Me on my boys has a blast with this demo yesterday. Some of the fights I watched and played were epic. The fights got better and better once everyone started getting use to the controls and stuff. I won 2 fights off of submissions, one was the arm bar and some other one. It was 10x funner playing against someone than the cpu.

Yeah, I do it every time I stuff a take down. Sometimes Rua will counter and pick your ankle.
