been playing legacy. Its alot better then FN3 thats for sure. I love the training modes. Alot more depth then before (obviously) and the scheduling system is much more realistic. The menu is a tad un user friendly but its ok once you get used to it.
I suggest turning auto save off. You will need to have a few tries at the different training modes to get used to how they work. If not, your gonna waste the training. It may seem cheesy to take a do over on these, but you will screw them up early on if you dont know what your doing. And since they are new, nobody will know what they are doing.
you may also need to make your guy a few times. I made a 6'8 260 LB guy and i already dont like his size. He is just to dam bigComment

As for G.O.A.T its tough. I loss 2 fights on that level. I got completely dominated when I put Gamboa against Mosley. Mosley just hit to hard was extremely realistic. You put a featherweight against a welter and you are in trouble.
I had far more succes when I chose Whitaker and fought Ortiz. I was winning on each card in the final rouns and got KOed in the 12th when I walked into a haymaker. If I could have gotten up I still would have won but the get up game is tough when you go down for the second time.

Anyways. The punch spam in this fuckin game is ridiculous. I knew Id run into some fuckin idiots who would try to exploit whatever they could find. My last 2 fights was nothing but punch spam. I tried to stay on the outside but they just came foward throwing body hooks. Game isnt officially released and bums are popping up already.

punch spam.....lol.....that sounds like me. I need to learn how to fight. Its not like FN3 where you can just attack attack attack. I need to pick my spots better and play more defense. I am throwing way to many punches and running out of gas. My opponent will land as many punches as i do, but im landing at 50% and they are at 80%. So in the later rounds, they still have steam and i dont.
Really, its a totally different fight game this time around. In FN3 playing against the top boxers in the game, you could unleash the fury and just out hit them so badly that you would win in a 3rd round KO.
That shit isnt happening this year. Early in my career mode playing a 6 round fight, they even go 3-4 rounds.
I mean, you can still go wild and out hit the cpu, but you will just make your guy lose stamina and end up getting yourself KOLast edited by Maynard; 06-24-2009, 07:16 AM.Comment

whats really sad for me is that im still playing on the pro difficulty.....i know i need to improve, but the cpu is just that good this year

i totally disagree with this guys thoughts on the training modes. These are brand new, so there is a learning curve to them. Once you figure out what your doing, they are a challenge, but do-able......And other then that, seems his only complaint about legacy is the awards logic.....and the clunky menus.
I agree about the menu navigations. Pain in the ass.
I also agree about the sound.....i think the music sucks, but i always turn music off in any game. Commentary and sound effects are great. Graphics and fluidity of this game should be more like a 9.9Comment

Went and picked the game up yesterday at lunch. For the PS3, you can upload photos to your easportsworld profile for use in the game. No need for an eyetoy.
