On Doctor's Bags:
I dig how they're basically for broken and busted limbs but not for health.
I'm playing on Normal to basically tour around and see what's in the game... so far all I know is Obsidian put a lot of work into making the game as easy or complex as you want it to be.
That and Radscorpians are a bitch to kill now with the new Armor rating... fought four of them, it went from mini-Boss fight to me running for my life as I emptied all my bullets into the ONE radscorpian that decided to hunt down and almost kill me.
As for game impressions?
The beginning section was better that taking the GOAT in FO3... much more personalized and inventive with the Rorshach Test.
As for combat, it depends on what you choose for skills and perk as well as your Perception rating.
If you chose to specialise in 'Guns' you're ahead of the game as far as making bullets and using most firearms at Levels 1-3.Comment

Impressions Pt. 2:
Medicine is also a top Skill to have, moreso if you fully complete the Tutorial with Sunny Smiles in Goodsprings.
You learn about how to make medicines and buffs using roots and plants you find everywhere in the ground.
There's also the art of creating your own ammo using new Reloading benches, which the game helps out via shell casings you find EVERYWHERE.
Also new to the game is Armor Rating (what Ammo type works best against people versus armored personnel versus mutated animals), the inclusion of better Iron Sights for guns (VATS works well but if you have the right Skills and Luck rating, you can hit anything), and the Companion system redone.
Other that you just choose who to side with and who to murder.Comment

There's reports of the game crapping out on certain settings for PC as well as frame stutter and glitches.
PC's going to need a patch soon.
As for console, PS3 wise, I myself have seen NPCs get stuck on stools mid-animation (they'd sit down and get trapped in the getting up animation) and trapped in a bookcase at one point.
The game's not perfect but it'll do. ;)Comment

Yo JayDizzle are you playing on Hardcore mode?
I feel like Hardcore mode is the way to go with this game, makes it that much more realistic. Plus you can still change the difficulty anyways but still have the Hardcore mode on. That said, I still haven't played it yet. lolComment

I'm doing Hardcore. Seems like it'll present a new challenge different from that in FO3.Comment
