I'm with you Maynard, I find myself constantly distracted and wandering off course and finding new shit, it hasnt taken me 26 hours, but I just got to the strip...then promptly turned around and started doing some other stuff elsewhere

I just won so much money at Blackjack, they banned me from the casino in Gomorrah.
BTW, if you're not at least a level 18-20, stay the hell away from the quarry and the mountains surrounding it. Deathclaws are EVERYWHERE, and there is an Alpha Male Deathclaw that is waiting to rape your face in the mountains.Comment

caravan is simple to win after watching that vid riley posted. i have run out of people to play and take money from. its a horrible game because u will never lose if you play it right...and playing it right is so simple. follow that video, u CANT be beat
riley, i attempted the quarry once. i fought 1 deathclaw...well 3 of me against 1 of him and it took forever to finish him off. i was level 8 or something then
some help needed for a side mission in mccaran
the chef in the concorse gives me a list of parts to fix the food processor. i go out and find all the shit and come back to repair it and it keeps telling me i dont have all the parts.
the real pisser is after spending about 2 hours locating some of the parts i go back and not only is it saying i dont have all the parts, but i also see i could have "jury rigged" it with my repair skill of 80
anyways, did anyone complete this or have any trouble with it like me? is this one of the glitchesComment

Same here, Maynard. I'm level 21 now, just finished a mission in Nelson. I got stuck in a never ending load screen. And the reason it was loading was because the game was running so poorly I wanted to re-load one of my saves. I haven't even played since that. I hope my save is ok.Comment

As Boone, ED-E and I are walking along the mountain pass to the east, I hear ED-E's little cell phone ringer go off, telling me they are fighting.
I turn around and there are like 15 deathclaws. No shit...15. I just started dropping frag mines and praying. I died rather quickly.
I'm thinking about going back, since I'm at level 18 now. I actually have some pretty decent weapons and Boone is a ninja.Comment

Is ED-E better than Rex? I'm a sucker for dogs, but I would like to let Rex go back to The King so I can stop worrying about him dying in gunfights.Comment

ed-d gets killed quick if your not careful. i keep him around to hold stuff and because he doesnt count as a companion. i can take someone else along with him. with rex i couldnt keep boone.
plus i still have ed-d quest open
38 hrs and i finally got in the strip...level 15Comment

ED-E, according to the Fallout wiki, takes the place of Rex as companion.
But, if you say he can die easily, I think I'll pass. Rex does kill, but it's when I get into thick fights that I have to hold him back.Comment

I have Boone and Veronica as companions. The two together can do some real damage.Comment

i will have to check that out again. yes ed-d does die easy. if i know a fight is coming, i make him wait in the distanceComment

If you have the PC version, you can download some really good content from Fallout New Vegas Nexus. Some of the things you can download allows a higher max for companions and increases the number of companions you can have follow you.
The Mod content from Nexus is just starting to heat up (not near what FO3 had, but it's early), but they do have some great download content already in place.
I have a backpack that allow for 70 extra pounds. I also carry a portable campfire and portable bedroll. Installed some extra weapons and armor, plus more.
Fallout PC is the way to go.Comment
