Sweet, first thing i'm gonna do is find me a fatboy and some mininukes and head down to Caesars Palace, where I currently work, and start blowing that place to pieces. Muhahaha!!!

Since they probably cant license Caesars Palace, i was thinking they could have Senors Palace with a statue of a gaucho out front. South American Cowboy themed Casino... DO IT!!!!

not impressed with that. Its the exact same format of FO3 trailer.
its using the same engine as FO3 so its going to be basically the same game with a new story and landscape. Thats not a bad thing, but its not somthing that ever really gets pulled off better then the original. (like cod 5 or R6 2)

Have you played fallout 1 or 2? A game can be very successful and even better than its predecesor when ran on the same engine, just because it doesn't happen often doesn't mean it can't be pulled off. Plus New vegas is being worked on by guys who put together the first two games, which if you haven't played them your missing out, also it makes your opinion of the fallout series uninformed and invalid.... Could be the decade I spent playing these two games but fallouts a soft spot for me...

bringing up 2 games over 10 years old is an invalid argument. This is next gen, not 16 bit gen which is the gen when those games were made for PC.

look at the history of next gen games. When they take the same game and just make a new story with minor feature updates, it usually means it isnt as good as the first game. If you wish to argue that, then u should research all the games like this on next gen to see that you will be wrong.

i put in over 120 hour of fallout, i love that game. But this game already feels like a $60 piece of DLC....why do i say that? look at the trailer for starters, its the EXACT same trailer as fallout 3. Its using the same exact engine that FO3 used and its taking place in the exact same type of environment (post apocalyptic) as FO3.....so that means, new story with some minor new features

Maybe I miss understood but, I don't care if its the same game as fo3 as long as its not 10 more years before its released, Im a fallout fanboy so I instantly jump to arms when I feel fallout is being threatened, sorry... also I would like to point out that nearly every RPG for next gen has been damn near the same game I'm trying to think of some exceptions but none come to mind,

i am a fanboy too. i hope the game is better or at least as good as fallout 3. what worries me is thinking about broken steel. i still havnt touched that DLC and its because its the same game with a new story line. i worry that new vegas will have the same feel as FO3 and be nothing more then a really big DLC. but only time will tell.

i havnt heard any details of changes or features they added

I think new vegas intends to go back to the old way of things (mostly because alot of the guys that made the fallout series a cult classic are getting their hands in on this one, I believe blackisle is producing the whole thing), at the end of that trailer is that an enclave or is it frank horrigan? If they bring just a little bit of the humour they managed to inject into the first two game to this one it will be a success in my book... Hell I could go for some more fo3 dlc even... Also the rumor mill states that if the legal battle over the vault 13 project continues that this game may get put on ice so it looks like its gonna be another decade before we get another fallout, all over a dumbass mmorpg...
