81 is really, really, really lowballing it. There's no way you guys get that low of an offensive ranking. 81 warrants the Steelers as one of the worst teams in the league offensively, which you are not.

Regardless, it'll be tough for Madden to match your rating up in-game. Mendenhall and Parker as both substantial, good backs, and Holmes and Roethlisburger will have decent ratings as well. Those guys are more than enough alone to warrant an offense of at least 84-86. Your O-Line isn't straight trash, persay, so you'll probably end with an 86, 87 rating.

oh. Well regardless, I don't see them scraping 90 in the least bit, but an 86,87 rating would do them well in 10.

I see their O being an 87 or something. No way EA is putting it to an 81.

          Anyways..

          Atlanta
          Overall- 86
          Offense- 87
          Defense-?
          ST-84
          This is almost reverse Homerism...

Atlanta is a lot more deserving then an 87 offense, their offense is very deserving of being a 90-94. with that running game and the fact that Matt Ryan has no where to go but up, I think they'll be at least 90.

Defense on the other hand, would drag the overall to where I think you have it.

I wouldn't even give our special teams that...

            I'd give our special teams a 60...

for the fact that at least our Kick and punt coverage improved greatly from the previous year...

but also for the fact that return game wise, we're lucky to grab 10 yards.

I PRAY that changes this year... I really do. maybe Garcon will step up and be a good return man. he can't be any worse then Ratliff, the fuck who fumbled twice against Detroit.

Well maybe 81 is too low. I'm very hard on my Steelers and after seeing the way the line played and couldn't get a consistent running game I figured they wouldn't be high. Maybe an 83 is more like it. They gave up close 50 sacks I believe.

Big Ben can inflate the sack number too , i mean dont get me wrong hes a good qb and can avoid sacks but alot of the time he holds onto the ball wayy to long cause he trusts himself alot ... hes always trynna make plays but sometimes its leading to sacks that arent neccisarly the olines fault.

PS. im not saying ur oline dont stink cause it does lol.

                    No homerism in my blood..lol.

Yeah you're right. EA might put the O 90-94, hopefully. If not 90+, then atleast an 89. I'll be happy with an 88+ rating.

I can't wait to see what the o-lineman ratings are.

Let's not forget that EAs ratings are a lot more wide-range this year. An 81 for Pittsburgh might not be out of the question, because an 81 might not be all that bad.

                            Panthers:

                            Offense - 89-91 ( Based on Delhomme being around an 81-82...D.Williams 95ish, Great O-Line, Smitty being 98, Moose 85ish...)

Defense - 86-88 (thats with Peppers)

Sp. Teams - 81 Kasay is good, R. Lloyd good kickoff man

                            Overall - 89-91

about where we were at the end of last year
