Wasn't this the game that they originally said they were going to release for free probably about a year ago? I remember a post over at MM. Heck, I may have even posted it. Or was that some WWII type game by Valve?

I could've sworn it was this one because I almost choked when I heard EA was going to give us something for free.

Ok, that's the one. That must be why I thought maybe Valve could've been involved because I remember them saying the graphics looked like Team Fortress.

Is it multiplayer only?

It's built on the same "Frostbite" engine they used for BF Bad Company, so the environments are destructible

After seeing RF:Guerilla in action the Frostbite engine is old news.

I'd be willing to be my last pay check that this game is online only. It makes sense.

Yeah but for 15 bones you can't really complain.. If you play the multiplayer for a week you've gotten your money's worth.

Yeah, that's what I was saying. I think $15 for a solid multiplayer game is well worth it.

Well, it looks the the demo was supposed to be out today. By that I mean there is a big ad type thing on Xbox Live with a sweepstakes and also a link to the demo. The only problem is that when you try to select the demo you get a "This is not currently available" message.

Lame.

I did that EXACT thing. I was like, "Oh cool. M$ is gonna get us this a day early...awww"

Battlefield Heroes is live now. Its free to play. Definitely not a TF2 clone. If it weren't a cartoon styled game it wouldn't even give anyone reason to believe it was anything like TF2.

It came out 1 day early on Xbox. And it comes out thursday on PS3 since sony updates the store every thursday.
