League status

Scud quitting the league has put us in a bit of a pickle. We have people on the waiting list, MVPete is ready to take his spot. The only problem is the Sony league system will not allow me to invite MVPete, now that the league has started. As it stands we have 9 players in the league and we obviously cannot finish this way. The only choice we have is to run the league using another setup.

The question is whether or not we want to use Leaguedaddy. Id love to, but I dont see the point in shelling out the money when there isnt enough league dedication from our members.

We need to decide where to go from here, and I am expecting to see anyone with interest checking into this thread otherwise the league will be dissolved.

The main point of the results thread was to have games documented in case the Sony legue crashed. If we ended up going to a leaguedaddy setup, we could just input those games and pick up where we left off.

true....I haven't been able to get games in...when i send invites i dont get a reply most of the time....Im still down....and btw I can play today....and MVPete is ready to go we talked about it the other night.

The PS3 does tell you when you get messages, it pops up in the upper right hand corner.

nope have had my 360 since release and havent had any problems with it. I'll just borrow my cousins for the time being and once Madden comes out I will give it back to him.

I deleted your post because you have nothing to add to this thread. Your opinion does not matter since you are not part of this league, and there is another workaround I have in the works. Ive had enough of your smart ass comments, and your posts will be deleted rather than any arguing on the forum. PMs and AIM work just fine if you have something to say to me, but going back and forth on our league forum is bad form.

I do let things slide that I dont consider a problem. (especially from people who I know arent being pricks) But given the conversation we had in the other thread, and the fact that you started your post with "I know I said no more smart ass comments but...." I dont think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out why that was a worthless post.

Just save us both some time and stop posting here. You obviously cannot help posting a bunch of garbage in our league threads.

so.....where are we going with this? I personally havent had enough time to consistently match up with my opponents, I can try harder or just take care of more commish type things and not play and just work on bettering the experience for everybody.

Games are not being played. Scud dropping put us in a situation where we need to decide if we are going to use LD or another league setup. There have not been many responses from league members that actually state what they would rather do, so we are at a stand still. We can easily setup a league standings page (even if it is just on these forums) and run the league but without much effort from other members it will be a waste of time.

MVPete, until we have a league of some sort set up, I cant get you games. If you take a look at the owners list thread you can see what teams are in the league. Being that we cant use the Sony online league, you can use any team not in use. The Bo Sox and Cubbies will be available also.

There are 5 series open at a time, but you can play any game. If you play Boston one game, that doesnt mean you have to play them twice more before you can play someone else...
