I know players gain or lose overall after the regular season is finished but is there progression mid season in the show and if so does this have to do with how the player is playing at the moment or potential?

you should be training your players, if you dont train them all of them will digress

How long does it take for the effects of training players to kick in?
Everytime I go in the Training Menu in Franchise Mode it tells me that I don't have anymore points, I need help!!!!!!
All my players are digressing and my play is being effecteed

aparently it goes down during the season and then back up and added more to appropriete players in the off-season
makes sense
