I can't fucking wait for this game. :rockwoot:
It would certainly have prevented the excuse of missing an important catch on 3rd down due to a referee bumping your receiver off his route "by accident."

Better yet, just do it up like Mutant League Football and just get rid of the refs... by hook or by crook.

I guess the article gives some hope, but still...Every year it gets to the point where you feel like you'd be happy if this years game was just better then last years, and every year it seems like EA does just enough so you can say that, so you're still wanting more every year.

Why does the new rating system and the player movement remind me of 2K5?

interesting... this is stuff 2K5 had, without the arcade game where you fight for a fumble.

If Troy Williamson was mad about his 78 rating last year, wait until he finds out he's a 52 in the new game.
LMAO, that is full of win right there

At least you have a chance to get the fumble back and not feel completely screwed now. It's in your hands.

Really good article, only thing that worries me slightly is the QB Avoidance feature which I talked about in another thread. I LOVE the new ratings system, least the sounds of it...bout time they change it. My Lions better be extra shitty now, they earned it damnit...least that offensive line. :D

i beg to differ on the 2K comment. Do you not remember the "charge up" from ESPN? It didn't get much more arcadish than that.

Korn, by the way, I was flipping through the channels last night and saw you on that Madden show on ESPN where ya'll were in my hometown. My hometown wasn't too good to ya, huh? :kickballs: Sucks that you let that dude do you like that. I was impressed how you destroyed that one kid with the Titans, though. (minus the fact you used that turd Vince Young instead of the better QB in Scary Kerry, lol)

So you guys went to "The Stage" for your night on the town in Nashville? That place is full of nothing but tourists and completely blows. Even "Tootsies" or "Legends" would have been a better choice if you absolutely had to go to a honky tonk bar.

Shit. I can see this pile up smash the button idea going wrong. It had better not happen on every fumble. I don't want to see some guy 10 yards away get fly to the ball if its lying right in front of me.

                    Still nothing about franchise mode.

It's been hinted a good amount though that there's some good changes...even a "highlight show".

                          Looks promising.

Now to avoid watching a video that completely strips me of all the hope I have for the game.

I like the new rating system, but I still don't think the people in charge of player ratings, is doing all that much research. The rookie sheet alone, is average at best. A lot of mistakes, whether it be speed, strength or jumping.

                          Starting to get pumped again.

I just want in to be in depth, and not have Tim Tebow come out as a 95 overall. Also teams drafting realistically would be nice, instead of 10 QBs going in round one to teams like the Falcons, Patriots, Colts, Broncos and more. Also not seeing Tom Brady in free agency at the beginning of the pre-season would be nice.
