i have had it happen to.....hopfully i can make sense here

lets say you hold the button down on the first X.....but you let it go before it reaches the power colored area......the game will automatically place the power at the start of the colored area

so if you hold it down just slightly longer then a tap the line will jump up to the colored area cause the game recognized you as holding down the button and letting go before it reached the colored area

point is that the first X "TAP" is very sensitive....and even if u thought u tapped it, u didnt tap if enough

shit i've never pitched by pressing the X button 3 times.

i just press X and hold it until i get the power i want, let go of it then press X again on the accuracy meter.

That's why Jax did so well with the Mets, makes sense. My rotation has changed every week since we started because of injuries or guys going up and down to the minors.
