adaptive ai has been something EA said was in the game the past couple of years.....there whole, u run the same play the defense will start to recognize your tendencies and the AI will Adapt to stop those money plays......did we all forget this?

cpu sliders.....cmon....this has been in madden since sliders were created.....how is this new?

slower gameplay.....OMG! does anyone remember madden when it felt like players were running in mud

If you can't see the drastic change in attitude and additions to the game that EA has already made then you are a big time hater.

they bring in a new team every year with the same great attitude,,,,take your blinders off my friend because their attitude is all part of getting you to buy the game once again....the same game that has major issues and unrealistic gameplay every year

People have been crying over the perception that 2k5 had 3 man tackles (it didn't), and they bitch and moan about EA's tackling system for ever, EA finally creates something that, you cannot deny, utterly destroys anything done in a football game to date, and of course you say I'm over hyping it.

Eat me. You haven't seen it in action, you've only seen the lame "everyone stand in a circle and stomp around a bit" crap that the marketing department decided to use, for god knows what reason.

I have taken Brandon Jacobs around the edge and saw a nice 190 lb DB to run over, only to have him hang on for dear life until a linebacker showed up to clean it up. I have driven toward the goalline knowing I'm going to bowl over those two guys at the line, only to have a third grab me from behind and pull me back and prevent the score.

Call me "overhyping' if you want, but at least wait until you've actually used it first. As far as I'm concerned, it's the biggest and most important innovation in football gaming history, by a very wide margin.

As for Madden 10 in general: I'll be very candid... while I love their passion and direction, I don't know if they've got the skills to finish it. They've bitten off far more than any previous Madden team has, and that's a testimate to their ambition of course, but will they be able to deliver in the time alotted is the question. I'm praying for a bug free game, but it's not going to happen. There's gonna end up being this glitch or that that screws things up. I'm just hoping to god it's not a game killer, but I am very concerned.

The difference is, if there is one, I'm fairly certain it'll be patched. These guys have some professional pride, and once we get our hands on it, it'll be Community Day times several hundred thousand. I look forward more to seeing this game in September than I do August.

Fight the power Adem! I'm actually very excited for the Pro Tak feature, I just hope that it's not like 95% of the tackles have to be assisted and there's still a good amount of solo tackles as well.

I'm not the least bit surprised... I've gotten plenty of it long before anybody on here decided to call me out... the difference is I have to calmly take it and smile at OS. Here I can hit back. Some of that was my frustration with the kiddies over at OS like Coach Ruckus and the like being just childish about it.

If you feel justified calling me out, then I feel justified fighting back. Simple as that. So we have a difference of opinion... am I supposed to temper my excitement for the sake of your feelings? Do I have to pretend Madden 10 blows ass so you wont be disappointed when it's not 100% perfect? It's not my job to moderate your emotions. I'm not a reporter, I'm not media, I'm a football fan who wants a great game and feels we're getting one. If you chose not to believe that or have different priorities than I do (ie you don't feel that dynamic gang tackling is a fundamental necessity in a football game), then take my posts on the game with a grain of salt and move on. Don't ask me to be the one who's responsible for your excitement of disappointment with the game.

In other words, if you're disappointed in Pro-Tak, it's not my problem.

I'm curious what exactly would be an exciting new feature if 9 man gang tackles isn't it? Irregardless of what Adem thinks about the gae or about any let downs in the past...there aren't that many features to add to the game at this point that would be exciting.

He had clearly mentioned it wasn't online related (IE, no online franchise) and we had already learned about the improved pocket for passing.

Madden 10 upgraded from 3 man tackles to 9. Sure, it could be broken and it doesn't fix everything, but that's a pretty big feature IMHO.
