I had no problem with Ware(both playing as a cowboys 3-4 or when i made him a 4-3 DE in my falcons chise)

To be honest it looks a lot like its just going to be a lot of sucked in animations but thats what madden is. So nothing different.

PRO-TAK helps with OL/DL interaction so yea that'll be different a bit.

Looked pretty good. Not real smooth, but meh, it's an early build. I'll be a little disapointed if its that choppy in the final build, but that's still better than last year.

They still have everyone playing way to high. Neither the RB or the tacklers ever really lower their pads.

one feature that i still think that madden needs is better o-line - d-line interaction.
Yes this is better than last year however apf 2k8 had a great system for that and it was truly amazing. The great players got through and it was very realistic

yea, some of those guys in APF would give you hell if they were a great player... and it was noticeable...

then again, in APF you pretty much had to step up in the pocket if a guy had a good D-end, because they push the edge so well that the guys that like to roll out will always get caught, and if you had a great DT the pocket usually collapsed in a very realistic way.

it'd be nice if they had that correctly done.

I still want to see realistic goal line blocking, where O-linemen go for cut blocks and the D and O line usually pile up before the Back gets into it. That's what really annoys me about madden, you never see so many O and D linemen standing up in a game, usually half of them are on the ground if not all of them, especially towards the goal line.

exactly, and that is how it is in the NFL, when you play the Vikings Jared Allen just cuts around the edge and forces the QB to step up every play, When you play the Titans Haynesworth creats havoc every play and makes the quarterback roll out or ste forward even more lol. THis should happen in madden. Watch these videos and this is what i hope it looks like very soon, hopefully this year although i have my doubts although it is improving slowly lol

The nice thing about the Pro-Tak blocking as opposed to the 2k Sports blocking is the branching of it.

2k Sports used a lot of long animations and if they didn't end at the right point, they'd miss the QB and end up way behind him. Pro-Tak can branch out of the animation so it doesn't continue playing even after the lineman is beat at the QB is dead to rights.

The blocking overall, when I played it, was not as good as 2k Sports, but it had the potential to be. They've gotta tune the tackle drop for one thing... it was too easy to take an elite defensive end and run the arch and put pressure on the QB. Plus the CPU wouldn't run the arch, they'd rush basically the way a tackle does.

They haven't really addressed blocking much so far, so I can't say much other than that, I guess. Like I said, it has the potential to beat APF/2k5, but it wasn't there yet as of CD.

So what impact will Pro-Tak have on a 3-4 defense? Or, more importantly, on a stud NT? Is that guy gonna be a force that the offense has to account for?

That involves a few things I'm not able to talk about yet.
