Well, its not necessarily cheese, just annoying. The fast pitching where guys relentlessly get pitches out as fast as they can. Its commonplace in lobby games.
Its VSN etiquette to pick your pitch, let the pitcher get into his stance, then pitch the ball. Kind of a 1-2 second delay between picking your pitch, and starting the meter.
Other than that everything is fair game as far as I know.
Oh, and constantly tapping the bunt button over and over while someone is pitching is not cool, but I've only ever seen Jax do that.
