The co-op itself is basically a set of stages on rails.

Each one leads you from Point A to Point B to Point C, collecting weapons and beating huge armies/mini-bosses on your way to the goal at the end.

Also, I haven't seen an option to play the single player mode in co-op but if it happens, it'll be DLC.

i figured thats what it was. i dont understand they just dont have a full blown coop instead a watered down version. appreciate the info

I don't know if I would really call it watered down. The single player story itself isn't really suited for a full blown co-op mode. Many a time, Drake is just running around kicking ass by himself with no real room for anyone else. This isn't Rainbow Six. Nathan Drake is the star.

The online co-op is fantastic. Easy can even be a little challenging.

Played most of the last chapters in Single Player tonight... really glad I had some notes handy.

Other than that, all that hard work just to get into the last city better be worth it because I'm already sick of seeing

 

Purple Hulk and his crossbow wielding cousins

...and finding out that the

 

Yeti/Horned Boogeymen aren't all supernaturally and shit

was a letdown considering what came up in the first game.

I reeeeeaally hated them at first, but if you shoot just a couple of the blue things while they're next to them they're not much trouble at all. A couple shots with the crossbow take em down easy too

...and finding out that the

I found it to be way to similar to the first game in just this aspect. "Weird shit turns people in to monsters", seems like they coulda thought of something else.

Speaking of, have you really looked through Drake's "journal"? I laughed my ass off at one of the pages that had a "Scare-O-Meter" with Sully's moustache listed at the bottom (least scary) and " demon Sasquatch" listed as most scary.

Yea LOL........my favorite is his bad guys killed count. Cuz at one point, even I was wondering how many clowns I killed in this game.

im loving the GUA perk. so fun running around the map ripping through people. went 12-0 just with the GUA on the Village last night. nothing more satisfying then hearing people curse you out as they die 3 times in a row from the chain gun

that chain gun thing. its only on a few maps. normally you can only plod around with it, but the perk allows you to move a lot faster with it.
