    UFC 2009 Submission Game

Submission looks to be a pretty important part of this game.

The submission system is extremely flawed in the game.
So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

He's never been submitted first. Second, Shogun has never been KO'd either, but I can KO his ass pretty easily. Your logic is flawed.

Aside from that the reason he hasn't been submitted is because he's good at not getting into a position to be submitted. However in the game that's not the case, he shrugs off sub attempt after sub attempt.

The reason is because the system is flawed. It focuses too much on energy, stamina, and strength.

yeah submitting liddell wont happen not even when i get him on the ground and commence to beating his ass b/c when i start submitting and get to the second stage he counter reversals me and knees me in the chest a couple of times before i get up

i can never seem to get him to tap

this is on the hard extreme or something difficulty

b/c liddell when i get him tired always seems to fight himself back by giving me a gash and then working it somehow he almost never gets cut

The more I play the less I like it.

Im thinking it has something to do with the Matchup of Rua/Liddell.

Way too many flash knockouts , Way too many submission reversals to dominant positions.
              Not enough clenching/dirtyboxing.

Again could be the fighters in demo.

For whatever reason Im still reaaaaally pissed at the lack of Southpaw in this game.
Best reason to have a license.

its all about weakening him with knees from the side mount then once you have him dazed lock in the kamorra

im 1 down from the top level.

No it isn't, because he didn't submit. It's actually a TKO loss.

true, but he was caught in a sub and went out, sub loss in my book

an arm triangle is a submission hold, its not called a TKO hold

on some guys records they have guys going to sleep as a TKO and also a 'technical submission', its just how they record it

They call it a TKO, or technical submission because the fighter didn't submit, the ref stopped it. An arm triangle is a submission hold because it's designed to make the fighter submit. Chuck didn't submit though. Essentially the same thing, but he wasn't submitted. He was choked out.

he was choked out with a submission hold

he was TCO'ed (Technically Choked Out)

I'm pretty sure Tim wasn't unconscious. It was a technical submission.
