8pm tonight. Of course when they released it they accidently screwed something up with the aiming but they said its a quick fix and it'll be good to go at 8 est.

I finally just popped this in and played a few games with a buddy. Damn this game is fun and man I can't believe how much I prefer 3rd person over 1st. I thought it was just Uncharted but now I'm sure.

My only problem is that I customized my controls and can't for the life of me figure out how to fucking throw grenades.

I switched jump to circle and reload to square, melee to RS and fire mode to LS. According to the layout diagram it says that I need to HOLD circle to change weapons, which is my jump button. I've tried it countless times and it doesn't work.

cant be positive cause dont know your control but whatever is your weapon wheel you hold that button down and it should pop up and you move the Right analog and go voer the grenade pic and you should pull them out and when you hold the fire button down the arc of the grendaes path shows up and you can move it to go how far you want it then let go of the fire button and you throw it.

That's just it. I don't see any button labeled weapon wheel or anything like that on the diagram. The closest thing I see is "Choose Weaon" which is by holding the circle button. Tapping it is supposed to be jump and circle 'choose weapon' but it doesn't work.

I wonder if by assigning jump to circle it fucked shit up?

Edit: That has to be it. I just checked the manual and it says that by default you access the weapon wheel by holding circle. Well then why the fuck would they let me map another function to that button, jump in this case' if it was going to disable that? That makes as much sense as not being able to customize triangle and circle.

Also, what's up with this Game Data Installer? It's 2.7 gigs and I could've sworn I downloaded that shit months ago when I initially popped the game in.

I bought the Cold Front pack immediately. SOCOM was packed. Felt like the old days. I am loving Nightstalker in the snow. It is arguably the most balanced map of ever

So what's the deal with the Game Installer anyway?

I thought it was funny that my buddy and I were playing the other day and he selected a respawn game. A bunch of players on our team quit and it was just he and I against six dudes. Then he had to leave and the next round it was just me vs five dudes and I won 22-21. LOL.

Exactly how I feel map. I love all the maps and I think Night Stalker in the snow is how it was meant to be (not like the desert in the past). Absolutely love this game even more now.
