True true. And Night Stalker....whooooo...that map was the shit on SOCOM 1. I can't wait man.

Night Stalker with Thermal gonna be sweet, but I hope for 3 things. 1.) DOnt add the explosive barrels to the classic maps and 2.) Hopefully the 2 new maps are designed to utilzie the entire map and 3.) Be able to play the new game mode with the old maps.

The only two maps my clan played towards the end of SOCOM II was Night Stalker and Blizzard so needless to say I'm pretty stoked. SOCOM Confrontation has gotten a bad rap, but I never thought it was all that bad besides the lag. Sure, Slant Six broke a ton of promises but I'm finally getting the game I had expected, even if it is a year after it's release.

I still have yet to see these lag issues that people bring up every now and then. Game plays perfectly fine for me except maybe 1 or 2 times that I can think of off the top of my head. *knock on wood*

Ah, well I can't comment on that then since even though I bought the game around release time, I didn't actually start playing it full on like old SOCOM's until bout couple months ago. So that is a good amount of patches in lol. Games a blast though, prob cause I found a clan that gives me that "home" feeling that I had back in the SOCOM 1 & 2 days.

Prob not a known one, but it's called Fuckin' You Up [FYU]...We Bust Caps, You Bust Blanks, lol. Cool and chill people in the clan and the leader is actually a chick, but she's got some skills.

I've been waiting for some info on the DLC, to bad MW2 is around the corner. I'm still buying this though, 10 bucks isn't bad for all of that.

yea back in Socom 2 we had a chick in the clan and she was cool and shit but she had the most annoying voice in the world.

Yeah. I think I played for a week and didn't touch it again for a few months because of the lag. I always had faith in Slant Six, and I'm glad to see that it has paid off. Now if they can start pumping out new maps once every three or four months, I'll be set.

On the European blog, they posted about the new Cold Front and at the bottom it said they are bringing back the tiebreaker round which is much needed. I hope its true.

I went ahead and got a used copy off ebay for a few bucks since they are finally releasing new maps. Hopefully they can crank out a couple more maps to keep me interested.
