New 2.76 Firmware Update for PS3 Does Pretty Much Nothing

I’ll make this brief. If you turn on your PlayStation 3 and decided to go online, a message will prompt you to download a new 2.76 firmware. Like most updates that end in anything besides a zero, this one means its pretty much insignificant. And you won’t notice anything has changed. According to Sony, this newest firmware does nothing more than “improves the playback quality of some PS3 format software.”

Basically, there must have been some extremely small issues that could be fixed easily. So Sony decided to release another update… Again. The update is live right now, so if you want to log-on ‘Home,’ than you are required to download it. Although, why would you want to play in Home in the first place? Weirdo!

Maybe this will fix the problem I had with Wolverine last week? Not that it matters now because I already finished the game.

Nothing like an update that does nothing. When you log on and see that you need to update your software I always get excited. Then disappointed
