MLB: Bayside Stories - an 09 San Francisco Giants Dynasty
Count me in as someone who loved that game. I probably would have kept playing it had I not upgraded to a HDTV in my bedroom, where my PS2 resides. There was such a button delay with the graphics that it made batting impossible. I was in my 4th season of playing every single game (no simming) when this happened. This chise tickles that nostalgic bone in me. Nice work.
Haha. Thanks a lot man. It's too bad that you can't play MVP Baseball anymore. I stopped playing MVP for maybe half a year to a year. I just couldn't take playing it anymore. One day, I decided to take it out and try to play it. I started to like it again and I've been hooked ever since. Thanks for checking in.
San Francisco Giants Owner Vikesfan101 has always liked Outfielder Delmon Young. He has watched Young since he was in the Tampa Bay Devil Rays farm system. Vikesfan101 saw that Young had the potential to be a star, but he has not shown any shines of brilliance in his very young MLB career. Delmon Young has struggled at the plate. In the 2009 season, he is hitting .235 with 1 HR and 5 RBI's.
The Minnesota Twins put Delmon Young on the trade block and the Giants went after him. Fred Lewis wasn't getting the job done, as he was batting only .254 with 0 HR and 7 RBI's. Lewis was supposed to be the guy that would hit well in the 3 hole for the Giants. Too bad he hasn't done it so far. Randy Johnson also hasn't been doing well for the Giants, as he is 0-2 with an ERA close to 5. Both Randy Johnson and Fred Lewis, along with one of the Giants' top pitching prospects, Henry Sosa (AA), were traded today to the Minnesota Twins in exchange for OF Delmon Young and 3B Morgan Ensberg (AAA). Johnson, Lewis, and Young had something to say about the trade.
Randy Johnson: "I've been on so many teams in my career that it doesn't matter that I'm going to the Twins. It's obvious that the Giants didn't want me here. The Twins will appreciate me more and I will do all I can to try and win a championship this year".
Fred Lewis: "I am shocked and disgusted right now. I can't believe the Giants traded me to the Twins. I know I haven't gotten the job done, but what makes Delmon think he can do it better? I have more experience and I think I am a better player than Delmon".
Delmon Young: "I am ecstatic about going to the bay area. I realize how much the Giants value me and I can't and won't let them down."
