Matt Schaub has returned from his elbow injury, and has been placed to start at quarterback against the Bills.
Gary Kubiak on Schaub: "Matt is ready to go again, he has been feeling great for a couple days now - I hope that can transfer that feeling into the game Sunday."
Schaub on himself: "It's been a tough couple of weeks, but the arm feels great - and now all my focus is on getting a win, and righting the ship."

I just read through this entire thread because it had been a while since I last checked in.. Can't believe you're still in with a shot at the playoffs. I won't get too excited until I see you guys in there; but at least you've improved from your 6-10 record (even if it's only by 1 or 2 games).
GOOD LUCK!Comment

Wow
Had no idea that I was missing out on all this. This looks fantastic.
How did you get the rosters so close to real life? And am I missing something....You can import NCAA classes onto 2k5?
Man do I regret not playing this game back in the day. It still looks top notch.Comment

After just over a month off of this - I'm back. Needed my football fix and I know my Texans would do it. Btw, this will probably never die until a better football game comes out.
So, without further delay, here is the result of the last game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17.
However, for those on the edge of their seats :o - we did not make the playoffs because Tennessee won against Denver.

Wide receiver, Andre Johnson, has been voted into the 2009 Pro Bowl.
Gary Kubiak on Johnson: "It's a great salutation to one of the league's best receivers. Andre definitely deserved this honor."
Offensive tackle, Ryan Clady, has been voted into the 2009 Pro Bowl.
Gary Kubiak on Clady: "We had a fair share of difficulty on the line this year, it's admirable to see that Ryan pushed through all the doubt and received an invite."
Offensive tackle, Duane Brown, has been voted into the 2009 Pro Bowl.
Gary Kubiak on Brown: "Duane is a player who does not give up on any play - and it is no surprise that he has been selected for his efforts."Last edited by Matt10; 11-25-2009, 03:07 AM.Comment
