You're right, but then again I have Matt Schaub who is also prone to injury. That's the reason I felt the city of Houston needed another face, and who knows he could even be the starter. Hanson was a pleasant surprise as well as I never have faith in CPU generated players. But I struck gold I think with him.

    Getting the offseason on.

It's show business, not show friends. Actually no, Schaub is still the man.

Personal preference, I'm a Bradford fan - and in my NCAA dynasty he rocked, while Clausen was always a bit unsteady. I based my decisions off of the NCAA dynasty, not necessarily real life.

Shut your face. I chose Bradford, and made all the other team's 1st rd draft picks based on need. Did not want the 1st rd glitch (where the CPU drafts players based on ability rather than team needs). After that, I simmed the draft - so I got lucky with the TE.

CJ is still the franchise of this team, not Bradford.

Good luck in the regular season.

Hehe, well the Franchise better not miss the entire season this time around.

Waiting in the wings: First round draft picks Jimmy Clausen (Chiefs) and Sam Bradford (Texans) impressed during the preseason. It's a surprise to some that why their head coaches are not starting the outsanding rookies. The reason why is head coach Gary Kubiak (Texans) and head coach Herm Edwards (Chiefs) are not risk takers. They choose who the veterans are in Matt Schaub and Brodie Croyle, and leave Clausen and Bradford to wait eagerly for their chance to shine.

A running start: Chris Johnson missed the majority of last season with a torn achilles, but also did not register great numbers - fumbling more than scoring. Johnson will be looking to regain his form against what some are saying the weakest defense in the NFL. The Chiefs' Larry Johnson has hailed himself as one of the best backs in the league, but the revamped Houston side might say otherwise with the arrival of Antonio Cromartie in the offseason, and outstanding veteran linebacker, Demeco Ryans.

The Score: 28-14 Texans. The game won't be a defensive battle, it will mostly consist of mistakes, penalties, etc. A typical first game of the season. Schaub is expected to have a lot of pressure on his shoulders as the Houston faithful will be waiting for the quarterback to make a mistake, so young Sam Bradford can officially call Houston home.

Yeah the O-Line's OVR aren't to bad, but maybe needs to be looked at again. I've got Pro-Bowlers after all, thought I'd be golden.

You need to go into beast mode sooner or later with CJ. A couple of those 125+ games he's having IRL would be nice.

                          Tough loss.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for it. Sure it will come soon though considering he did a couple last year - although Ahman Green stole the show.

Experience over exposure: Matt Schaub is the more experienced quarterback here, but that doesn't necessarily mean he is the better one. Chase Daniel has seen the National stage at the collegiate level first hand, and is now playing for the very famous Chicago Bears team. Both quarterbacks were unable to guide their team to a victory, Schaub has shown he can find receivers in the endzone, while Daniel is showing some early nerves.

The goal to 100: Ask any running back and their first goal in the game is to get off to a good start. The next goal is to reach 100 yards. Matt Forte was 4-yards short, with no score, while Chris Johnson capped at 64-yards - also with no score, however his team was in dire need of quick throwing touchdowns. Look for both teams to get their backs started very early, Houston might actually force the issue more than the Bears.

The Score: 10-7 Texans. I expect a defensive battle at Soldier Field. The matchup between the receivers and cornerbacks for each team is looking to be something fierce. Schaub will be the better QB than Daniel - but don't be surprised if Kubiak throws a couple of curve balls by giving Sam Bradford a chance if Schaub can't get the job done.
