NFL Quarterback: It takes a lot of time and determination to become an NFL quarterback, and to have the Texans starting Sam Bradford over the more experienced, yet shaky, Matt Schaub, is a big risk on their part. However, the Broncos attempt to trump the idiocracy could deem successful as they let ex-Texan Graham Harrel go earlier this week. In his place will be the inexperienced Hunter Cantwell in front of Jared Lorenzen and Patrick Ramsey. With names like that it's no wonder the rumor mill has wideout Brandon Marshall looking for a new home.
The runners best run: It's not even a direct order anymore, the runners need to run - especially for the Texans. Losing Chris Johnson for just over two months is incredibly unfortunate for a team that relies on the running game. Felix Jones has been given the nod over the new signings DeDe Dorsey and Darren Sproles. On the Broncos side of the ball, Andre Hall has gotten off to a slow start, but with a solid offensive line and his nack for catching the ball - the Texans aggressive linebackers could have their work cut out for them.
The Score: 35-14 Texans. Sam Bradford is going to shine in his debut start for the team, but might see some hiccups early on. The main issue that could prevent the Texans from running away from the Broncos would be the possible one-dimensional passing if Bradford does not find a suitable replacement for Patrick Turner.
