    Sortable tables

I'm putting this post in here as well, because I know a lot of guys use it in their chises and I don't want it to get lost in the announcements.

Use this code if you want sortable tables (remove VSN):

    [tableVSN="head;sort=3d;autonumtitle=rank;width=15em"]name|age|points
    Nicky|34|200
    Bobby|24|300
    Tim|31|100
    [/table]

You put a line break between the table and the "Team". Make sure there is no space.

How do you make it so the table goes in order and doesn't get all mixed up?

To take what Matt said even further... it's sorting by the column (3d means the "3rd" column going "down"). So if you want it to sort the first column, you put 1d... if you don't want it to sort anything, you simply remove it, and it will all appear the way you type it in.

Why won't it stay listed so that it goes all the QBs first, then RBs, etc?

You see that part of the code that says "sort=3d;"? You may not have noticed, but your whole table is sorted by number, which happens to be the third row down (or 3d). If you want your tables to stay the way you enter them, simply remove sort=3d;. Or, if you want another column sorted, you can change the number.

                          Enjoy!

Gotta question for you franchise guys. I've never done one before but I've been messing around with tables on my team page for GGML Online Franchise.

Actually 2 questions. Here is the page to view it so you guys can see what I am talking about.

                            1. Do you see how Clevelands stats are on top of Denvers? Is there a way to make them side by side? So Denvers passing stats and Clevelands stats are right by each other and same with rushing and recieving?

                            2. In the Cleveland rushing, Cleveland recieving and Denver passing tables the guy who I have on the first slot somehow shows up in the second slot. So I think I'll put him #2 and he will wind up #1. But that doesn't work either. What is causing this?

Anyone who can answer this would be appreciated. Thanks for helping.

                              1. You can't align the tables next to eachother, you have to combine them.

So you can do something like this..

                              2. In the table, there is a part of it that says 'sort=3d' just remove that and it will be in the order you want.
